Corporate / Warm up (for Online shows click here)

2019 Host, Launch Event for the SJL Foundation, The Churchill Room at The House of Commons

“Matt was the perfect host for our event at the House of Commons. He was very professional, entertaining our audience from beginning to end and ensured plenty of laughs” (Simon Lancaster, Owner & CEO of SJL Foundation)

"I saw Matt Green compere in a Leicester Square comedy club in 2018. He was witty, funny, fantastic with crowd interaction, bang up to date on current affairs and intelligent so I took his card for my drawer in case I wanted to hire him in the future. One year later, an opportunity arose where we wanted a comedian to MC a national business awards final competition, that took place in the House of Commons. I recommended to my client a comedian specifically because they can lift the mood and lift the atmosphere in such an austere, serious venue. Matt prepared his script well in advance which made my life easier. The first version of his script needed no edits from my end either, which was miraculous!

Matt is highly educated from Cambridge University, and was also involved in Footlights, so he is the perfect host for corporate and university events, to name a few. He followed my brief and didn’t do any jokes that were not on brief. As Matt is so well read and follows the news, he was able to make bang up to date off the cuff new unscripted jokes on the day, which was a delight for me to see and raised laughs from the room. I had faith that my client and the crowd would like him also on the day given what I had seen before in his performance, and the frequent roars of laughter from the crowd, showed that. My client was thrilled with his performance and said he would hire Matt again. I also would not hesitate to hire Matt Green again, and I hope I will get the privileged opportunity and joy to do so.”

(Zoe Boyd, Rockitfish)

2015 Host & Compere, Top Employers UK & Europe Awards 2015, Old Billingsgate Market

"Matt is a delight to work with! This is the second year that we have used him as compere for our awards evening and we would book him again in a heartbeat. Matt is funny, professional, conscientious and easy to work with. He remembered details about our event from the previous year, and worked with our project management team to help deliver an even smoother one this year. It’s obvious that Matt cares about getting it right and wants your event to be a success. Matt easily connects with the audience and can boost up the crowd, or quiet them down when needed."(Eleanor Nickerson, Top Employers Institute, February 2015)

2014 Host & Compere, Top Employers UK & Europe Awards 2014, Old Billingsgate Market
